What is Crystal Run Village Foundation?

Crystal Run Village Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that raises, manages, and distributes funds for the purpose of improving the quality of life for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

As the fundraising entity associated with the human services agency Crystal Run Village, Inc., the Foundation’s funds augment government benefits for which the individual may be eligible so that the individual can live a more complete life.

In the past many of the adults receiving support services lived in institutions and the Foundation has supported programs to provide them with community-based housing and opportunities for learning, independence and greater community inclusion and contribution. Today children with disabilities live at home with their families and attend school, however there are many unmet needs. The Foundation considers these needs on an individualized basis so that an individual’s future can be as successful as possible.

What are the Foundation’s funds used for?

Your contributions work to improve the quality of Life for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities by:

  • Supporting cultural programs
  • Encouraging adaptive sports and recreation
  • Providing vacation facilities for residents
  • Providing educational and life-long learning programs as well as educational excursions
  • Providing educational scholarships for direct service providers who serve our constituents
  • Providing special needs grants for individuals and families
  • Enhancing community-based projects that promote and protect the rights of persons with IDD
